Respect My Region had the opportunity to attend the 8th annual Northern Nights Music Festival in Piercy, California. Taking place in the middle of the Redwood Forest along a gorgeous river, this festival brings together the best of dance music and sun-grown cannabis. We spoke with Andrew, co-founder of Northern Nights, about founding the festival and where it is today. At the root of this festival is community, whether that's the local brands or attendees that have been there since the first fest. There were multiple cannabis dispensaries on-site including the "Tree Lounge Dispensary" that served essentially as a farmers market for Humboldt County cannabis brands. Andrew talks about how important it is to ask where your cannabis is coming from, who makes it, and how they make it.
