They were the first dispensary to open up in the city of San Luis Obispo, CA. Megan’s Organic Market (MOM) is a 100% women owned company whose mission is to redefine society’s relationship with cannabis through responsible stewardship. They’re continually seeking market opportunities to improve the health of others and their community through education, awareness, and access to sustainable, high-quality cannabis products. Founded in 2013 in response to the lack of verifiable, organic medicine available to medical cannabis patients, MOM’s delivery service worked hard to improve the health of residents, and quickly became one of the most respected Prop. 215 cannabis collectives in California. Today, MOM Inc. has grown to include California retail storefronts, including their flagship shop, which was the first adult and medical use cannabis retail storefront in the City of San Luis Obispo, cannabis cultivation operations, and a cannabis product brands division. Community involvement has been a central part of MOM’s company culture since its founding. From adopting a two-mile stretch of Highway 1, to sponsoring community workshops and blood drives, to organizing and staffing a monthly dinner at the 40 Prado Homeless Services Center, to hosting a local educational radio show, MOM has an exemplary track record of responsible community stewardship.
